production. “The Veil,” is about the mystical search for love and the circular nature of time and will be performed at the New Space Theatre at Colorado Mountain College Spring Valley, Nov. 30 through Dec. 8.

A defrocked priest, a haunted house, a séance gone awry and a 17-year-old girl forced into marriage to save her mother’s estate – these are all part of “The Veil.” The New York Times calls McPherson “quite possibly the finest playwright of his generation.”

Cast members are Jeff Carlson, Brendan T. Cochran, Nyle Kenning, Kelly Ketzenbarger, Lisa Langer, Chip Wynn Wells, Peyton Wild and Cassidy Wiley.

Directed by G. Thomas Cochran, “The Veil” will run Nov. 30 and Dec. 5, 6 and 7 at 7 p.m., and Dec. 1 and Dec. 8 at 2 p.m. at CMC Spring Valley at Glenwood Springs, 3000 County Road 114. Admission is $18 for adults and $13 for seniors and students, as well as CMC employees and graduates. Tickets are available at Eventbrite or the CMC box office.
