CMC peace officer academy in Buena Vista has certified 41 graduates

Working in construction, 23-year-old Logan Tidwell thought he was getting a lot done but he didn’t feel he was making a positive impact in the world.
So one day Tidwell called his dad, who happens to be the police chief in Buena Vista, to say he wanted to enter the law enforcement profession, too.

CMC student receives Vail Resorts diversity scholarship
April 28, 2010
College student Roger Espinoza saw snow for the first time at age 10, and he fell in love with it.
He decided to devote his professional career to the fluffy white stuff. Espinoza received a big boost in that direction as the current recipient of the Vail Resorts Ski Area Operations Diversity Scholarship. The scholarship covers two years’ tuition, books and fees to study in the ski area operations (SAO) program at Colorado Mountain College in Leadville.
