Colorado Mountain College will present “Teacher ED Talks: The future of education” from April 8 to April 18 at four CMC locations.

Following a “TED Talk” format, students in the college’s teacher education program will present their research, a final requirement before they graduate. Depending on the location, three to five students who have been student teaching locally will present their research.

The schedule for the upcoming talks:

  • April 8: Clough Auditorium, CMC Rifle, 3695 Airport Road
  • April 10: Finkel Auditorium, CMC Breckenridge, 107 Denison Placer Road
  • April 17: Morgridge Commons, 815 Cooper Ave., 2nd floor, Glenwood Springs
  • April 18: Atrium, CMC Vail Valley, 150 Miller Ranch Road, Edwards

All the above presentations run 5:30-7 p.m.

These talks are designed to bring together various community members – including mentors in school districts, principals and family members – and will provide an ideal forum to see the future of education through the eyes of our communities’ up-and-coming educators.

The presentations are free and the public is encouraged to attend. Participants are invited to bring questions.
