College prepares for future with new strategic plan
CMC Day is next Thursday, May 8 at Spring Valley. The packed program includes a morning full of workshops and department gatherings, networking, fun activities and some surprises. The afternoon will focus on the newly approved CMC Strategic Plan, “Reaching New Heights.”
Helping us kick off our Strategic Plan will be CMC Foundation Board Member Rich Glasier. He brings several decades of experience in customer service as a top-level executive in the hospitality and entertainment industries. Rich was Corporation VP for Ramada Inn, Executive VP and Chief Financial Officer for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, and retired in 2005 as President and CEO of Argosy Gaming Company. He serves on the boards for Carnival Cruise Line (Fortune 100 Company) and his alma mater Cornell College. Rich’s experiences will help CMC team members to see new possibilities to elevate our service to students and to each other.
Though CMC Day was originally just for faculty, all CMC employees are to attend this important event. The new Strategic Plan will be guiding our work during the next four years, so it’s important that we all join together as we help move this already great college to Reach New Heights!
RSVP by 5 PM, Monday, May 5.
